GoTecID exists to eliminate unnecessary repetition and unnecessary exposure of personal information. Individuals create their information once, share it many times, and remain in control throughout its entire lifecycle. This is the filter every product decision, feature and line of code must pass.

What GoTecID is — and isn’t

GoTecID is a consent-driven document sharing platform. It is not a verification platform, not a KYC service, not an identity-proofing company. It lets a person hand over documents they already have — once, securely, tracked and revocable — and it never touches the question of whether those documents are genuine. That is the recipient’s job, using the systems they already use.

The three principles

Every feature must strengthen one or more of these. If it does not, it does not belong in GoTecID.

01 — Create once

A person should never recreate their information from scratch. Every document is uploaded once into a private vault and reused forever.

02 — Share many times

A person shares their documents with any organisation — whether or not it uses GoTecID — through a secure, trackable link. One upload, unlimited controlled shares; the recipient needs zero adoption.

03 — Stay in control

The individual decides who sees their documents, sees every access in an audit trail, and can revoke access instantly. Documents are viewed under watermarked, controlled conditions and never redistributed. Control is not a feature — it is the product.

The decision filter

Before building anything, one test settles it: does the receiving organisation’s job change? If a feature means the agent, clerk or officer must verify differently, adopt new software, or change their workflow, it has left GoTecID’s lane — that is verification, and verification is not our business. If it simply means documents arrive more securely, more neatly and fully tracked while the recipient does exactly what they already do, that is GoTecID.

What we will never promise

“Your documents are unbreachable.” No honest company can promise that, and GoTecID will not. Every system that holds data gets attacked. The question is not whether an attack can happen — it is whether, when something goes wrong, the harm has been minimised.

What we can promise

Your documents live in one place, not twenty. Every access is recorded. Every view is watermarked. And if data is ever exposed, it is stained, attributable, and far less useful than the unprotected copies people email to strangers today.

GoTecID does not eliminate risk. GoTecID eliminates exposure.
